In Bangladesh, over 77% of households still rely on firewood, charcoal, or dung for cooking. This burden falls mostly on women, who sacrifice hours, health, and safety just to prepare a meal. The challenge is urgent—clean cooking must be accessible, affordable, and sustainable.

We created HelioStove—a low-watt, solar-powered cooking system designed for off-grid and low-income families. Using just 300W of energy, it can cook a full meal in under an hour, powered entirely by the sun. It’s more than a stove—it’s a complete solar solution including lighting and fans.

What makes HelioStove unique is its fully insulated, pressure-retaining body, smart power controller with energy priority logic, and modular design for rural or urban settings. It’s clean, efficient, and engineered for scale.

So far, 560 households and small tea stalls have adopted HelioStove. Women tell us it changed their lives—they no longer gather wood or inhale smoke. Families save over 1,000 BDT per month. In urban areas, bachelors and small vendors are embracing it as an LPG alternative.

Our vision: Reach 1 million homes in the next 5 years, empower 100,000 women entrepreneurs, and prevent over 1 million tons of CO₂ emissions. Help us scale manufacturing, subsidize 2,000 units for vulnerable communities, and expand to Kenya and Nepal.
